Yesterday was our daughter-in-law's birthday. Even though they only live a couple of hours away, Sundays are such busy days for us that we knew we wouldn't be able to see them yesterday. So we made a secret plan with Quinn. He "kidnapped" Tiffany on Saturday and met us half way inbetween. Tiffany was a little non-plussed to find herself in Kankakee, Illinois and especially at the very same restaurant they could have gone to in Champaign. But I think she was pleasantly surprised to find us waiting there, and we sure enjoyed having dinner with them and spending a few hours together. We're awfully glad Quinn found Tiffany. They are perfect for each other!

We're glad Quinn found Tiffany too! We only really know her from her blog, but we think she is wonderful! Beautiful, talented, and a fun wife-- just what we always wanted for Quinner!
I'm glad Quinn found me too. Not only did I get a great husband, but a great extended family as well. Thanks again for meeting us for my birthday, we really enjoy getting together with you. Clarissa had a lot of fun as well. Thanks for the flowers, we are excited to plant them and hang up the baskets.
Clarissa just saw this picture and got really excited and started yelling "bapa" which is the same for both Grandma and Grandpa. I knew she had a lot of fun, she is just now expressing it herself.
